A Eufaula man pleaded guilty Friday in federal court to drug-related charges.
Johnny Edwards Smith Jr., also known as Tick or Little Johnny, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute controlled substances, said U.S. Attorney Sheldon J. Sperling.
Smith, 31, is a co-defendant in the March 12 federal grand jury indictment of 14 defendants, Sperling said.
Smith was the leader of a large drug organization based out of the Eufaula area.
The charged conspiracy involves methamphetamine, cocaine, and crack.
Following a presentence report, a date for sentencing will be set.
