Nutrition organization to host meeting

— Muskogee Public Schools Student-Parent Organization on Nutrition (SPOON) will have its first meeting at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 16. in the Sadler Arts Academy cafeteria located at 800 Altamont St. Topics for the meeting will include shopping tips, cooking hints and money saving ways to lead a healthier, longer and more satisfying life. Snacks will be provided by Applebee’s.
SPOON is sponsored by MPS Child Nutrition Services as a community outreach to increase public awareness of nutrition, health and wellness. Meetings are open to the public.
