A 20-year-old patient escaped from a mental health facility in the Wagoner Community Hospital on Wednesday and was arrested a few hours later after allegedly burglarizing two residences, police reported.
Wagoner Police Detective Paulette Caskey said Demarco Hubbard of Washington County escaped the facility about 1 p.m.
He is believed to have taken a loaded 9 mm pistol and a .40-caliber Glock pistol, along with men’s clothing from one residence, Caskey said.
Hubbard was arrested Wednesday afternoon at a local apartment complex by Wagoner Police Capt. Tony Ponds, Caskey said.
He was booked into jail on complaints of second-degree burglary and breaking and entering, both after former conviction of a felony, Caskey said.
