Published October 10, 2008 11:17 pm - Workshop designed to assist artists’ portfolios TAHLEQUAH — For visual artists, their portfolio can be their best representative. The Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition announces an upcoming workshop for artists, providing information about putting together an effective portfolio.
A part of the Artist Survival Kit (ASK) workshop series, “Moving Forward: Portfolios & Goals” will be 1-4 p.m. Oct. 25 at the NSU Jazz Lab, 315 N. Muskogee. The workshop will feature several speakers who will draw on their experiences to help artists with portfolios. The workshop is $20 for general public or $15 for OVAC members, with a discount of $5 for those registered and paid in full by Oct. 22. Scholarships are available.
