Published November 01, 2009 01:10 am - Owasso man killed in hunting accident Erick Wiles, 38, of Owasso was pronounced dead at Muskogee Regional Medical Center Saturday after having been shot in a hunting accident, said Faye Banks, investigator for the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office.
Banks said officials were notified of the shooting Saturday morning. Wiles was one of four members of a hunting party south of the Jamesville Y, west of Muskogee. For more on this story, see Sunday's Phoenix.
