Published November 24, 2008 10:43 pm - Thanksgiving closings Because Thanksgiving is on a Thursday, some businesses will be closed Friday. Here is a list of those that will be closed both days:
• Muskogee County District Court. • U.S. District Court. • Muskogee County Health Department. • Muskogee County Transit. • Rural Water District #5, Muskogee County. • Muskogee City Hall. • Muskogee Public Library. • Fort Gibson Tag Agent. • Muskogee Tag Agent. Here is a list of those that will only be closed on Thursday: VA Regional Office, Muskogee Post Office, area banks and financial institutions. For the City of Muskogee Sanitation Department, residential and commercial routes will not run on Thursday but will resume Friday. There will be no yard waste pick-up for this week.
