Muskogee City Council Public Works and Finance Committee meeting, at a glance, 12.03.08

At its regular meeting Tuesday, the Muskogee City Council Public Works and Finance Committees approved:
• Rezoning property located on Boston Avenue from single family residential district to office and personal service district to allow a new bank to be located on the property, as requested by Armstrong Bank.
• Resolution directing the filing and notification of the publication of Supplement No. 2 to the Muskogee City Code of ordinances. The supplement will add codes adopted through July 14 and include those in the index.
• Ordinance giving fire department authority to recover costs of hazardous materials spills from the parties causing them.
• Appointment of D. Boots and Matthew Price to the Civic Center Advisory Board replacing Gordon Harlin and Charles Bowman. Each appointment is for a three-year term.
• Accepting the FY 2007-2008 audit report from CBEW Professional Group LLP.
• Accepting ODEQ Permit for the construction of 1,125 linear feet of six-inch PVC water line to serve the Old Guys Rule Development, Muskogee County.
• Change order increasing the contract by $14,950 for the City Demolition 4 Project 1 contract with Siner Contracting Inc. Properties to be demolished are 419 N. 14th St., at a cost of $3,250; and 805 W. Broadway, $11,750.
