Fall chores bring benefits

Darren Brown uses a day off from his job at Georgia-Pacific to rake leaves in front of his home. He said he used a mulching lawn mower to get rid of many of the leaves and raked up the excess. According to a fact sheet from the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service, mulching lawns can help control grasses and weeds and help decrease runoff and soil erosion.
