SlutWalk draws more than 100

— More than a hundred Northeastern State University students, faculty, staff and community members took to the Tahlequah campus sidewalks Wednesday for SlutWalk, according to a media release. With signs citing everything from rape statistics to false assumptions, the group started their journey at the Be the Change fountain and ended at the Second Century Square. The event is designed to change rape culture and perception. Last year, the NSU American Association of University Women Student Organization held the first SlutWalk.
