Cherokee TERO gives more than $7,000 for domestic violence victims, kids’ gifts

— Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office donated more than $7,000 to help both victims of domestic violence and buy Cherokee children much needed clothes and gifts this Christmas season. TERO officials raised $7,138 from a golf tournament held Oct. 28. Officials with the Cherokee Nation’s ONE FIRE Against Violence Victim Services Office and the Cherokee Nation Angels each accepted TERO donation checks for $3,569.
