A Chevrolet Suburban rests on its side Thursday morning after it struck a Toyota Prius, knocking it into a Toyota Matrix in a parking lot at AlternaCare Medi-Equip, 3404 W. Okmulgee Avenue. Muskogee police Officer Danny Dupont said the Suburban, driven by Jordan Ellis, 19, of Muskogee, was going west on Okmulgee when it veered right and left the road, hitting the Prius. A passenger in the Suburban, Jeremiah Harrison, 31, of Muskogee, was transported to EASTAR Health Systems. His condition was unavailable. Dupont said three people in the Suburban were wearing seat belts, but Harrison was not. No citations were issued, he said. AlternaCare’s customer service manager, Glenn Bennett, said the business owns the Prius and Matrix.
