Bridge work on turnpike ongoing

A work crew from Glover & Associates does asphalt work along a new northbound bridge on the Muskogee Turnpike over Hancock Street. A spokesman for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority says the northbound bridge will be open early next week. After it opens, the southbound bridge will be replaced. Southbound traffic will be diverted to the new bridge. The project could take 90 days.
