One man injured in two-vehicle crash

One person was injured after a two-vehicle collision at Seventh Street and Okmulgee Avenue on Tuesday evening, said Officer Stephen Brown of the Muskogee Police Department.  Joseph Michals, 19, of Muskogee was taken by Muskogee County Emergency Medical Service to EASTAR Health System for neck injuries and cuts on his arms, Brown said. Brown said Michals was driving a green Ford Mustang eastbound at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Okmulgee when a red Land Rover Discovery, driven by Kiyam McIntosh, 17, of Porter, failed to yield at the stoplight while turning southbound onto Seventh Street. The Land Rover was carrying passengers, none of whom were injured.
