Man hurt in FG car/motorcyle collision

One man was transported to the hospital by ambulance on Saturday after a two-vehicle wreck in Fort Gibson. Officer Bryan Waters of the Fort Gibson Police Department said a motorcycle was traveling westbound on Poplar Street when a car traveling eastbound failed to yield and turned northbound into the path of the motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the rear passenger door of the car. Waters said the man was suffering from lower leg, groin and arm injuries.
