Hulbert woman hurt in one-vehicle crash

A Hulbert woman was injured late Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash less than three miles north of Hulbert, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol media release said.

The woman, 55-year-old Diana Cowden, was driving a 2000 Toyota Solara on Lost City Road when she ran off the left side of the road, struck a fence and then struck a tree.

The release states the crash happened at 9:29 p.m. Cowden was transported to W.W. Hastings Hospital, the release states. A condition on Cowden was unavailable Wednesday.

The OHP report states the cause of collision was “rain or wet roadway” and lists Cowden at the time of the crash as having the odor of alcoholic beverages.

Cowden was wearing a seat belt, and her vehicle’s airbag deployed, according to the report, which states Cowden was pinned in her vehicle about 45 minutes.
