P.M. UPDATE: Animal volunteer group sets doughnut fundraiser Saturday

The Animal Lovers of Muskogee County, a volunteer group that works with the Muskogee Animal Shelter, will be taking orders for Krispy Kreme doughnuts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 9 at Petco, 938 W. Shawnee Bypass. The doughnuts will be available for pickup Nov. 16 at Petco.

All proceeds go to the spay/neuter fund for homeless pets at the Muskogee Animal Shelter. All orders must be paid for when placed.

Pets from Muskogee-area foster parents will be available for adoption Saturday. All adoption fees will be $25, which includes spay/neuter and rabies shot. These pets are fostered by families  for the Muskogee Animal Shelter.
