PET OF THE WEEK — Scruffy

The pet of the week for Promoting Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is Scruffy. She is a 4-year-old sweet girl that has had no problem with or animals or people. Scruffy has been spayed and had all of her shots and been wormed. Prospective owners must have a fenced backyard to adopt a dog. PAWS also has cats available for adoption. Cats have been FIV-tested negative and have been spayed or neutered, had all their shots and have been wormed. Cats must be kept indoors. Scruffy and other dogs and cats ready for adoption are at the PAWS shelter at 4321 E. Hayes St., across the road from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol station on the east side of the Muskogee Turnpike. Information: (918) 686-7297 or www.pawsforadoption.com.
