Area animal shelter seeks donations

The Checotah Animal Shelter is seeking donations for a fall fundraiser rummage sale on Oct. 26-27. The proceeds will be used to help finish a spay-neuter facility at the shelter.

If you can help and have items to donate, donations will be accepted at Tractor Supply, 1140 W. Shawnee Bypass in Muskogee, or Honor Heights Grooming, 4011 W. Okmulgee Ave., in Muskogee. Items may also be dropped off at the Checotah Animal Shelter, 2282 N. Broadway in Checotah.
