FINANCE COMMITTEE

Consider:

• Approval of claims for all city departments Oct. 1-12.

• Approval of the lowest bid in the amount of $17,727 from Danny Beck Chevrolet for the purchase of a half-ton pickup for the Animal Control Division.

• Approval of construction contract in the amount of $3,934,518.95 to the low bidder, Rossco Construction Inc., for South York Street widening project.

• Approval of final payment in the amount of $408 to Holloway Updike & Bellen Inc. for engineering services for eastside 12-inch water line loops.

• Approval of receiving donated funds for the month of September 2012 for the city’s Animal Shelter Sponsorship Program.

Consider:

• Public hearing regarding John L. Watson’s request to rezone property located at 3501 W. Broadway from single-family residential to local commercial district for the purpose of operating a medical facility at the location.

• Update regarding the city of Muskogee’s housing rehabilitation and revitalization program.

• Ordinance amending residential and commercial building codes in order to comply with state law and the Oklahoma Uniform Building Commission standards.

• Approval of an agreement with town of Porter for the sale of treated water and authorize the mayor and city clerk to execute the agreement.

• Approval of final plans for Beckman Park improvements, as prepared for by Planning Design Group, and authorize the project to be put out for bids.

• Approval of final plans for Greenhill Cemetery, second-phase improvements and authorize the project to be put out for bid.

• Proposal to install signs at Gibson and North J Streets near Irving Elementary School prohibiting right turns on red and U-turns.

• Adoption of the Council Policy No. 10-04, which addresses grease and oil control policy.

• Approval of the solid waste disposal agreement between the city of Muskogee and Waste Management of Oklahoma to be instated Dec. 1.

• Approval of Addendum B of Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality consent order No. 07-215 and authorize the mayor to execute the document.

• Acceptance of the maintenance bond from Poindexter Plumbing for the construction a 6-inch water line to serve the College Heights Addition.
