Robbery suspects hit with more counts


— Two men charged with conjoint robbery were charged Monday with additional felonies.

Matthew Eugene Triplett, 43, of Fort Smith, Ark., and Stephon James Alexander, 19, of Muskogee are charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and attempted conjoint robbery. Triplett also is charged with attempting to elude police. Both are being held in the Muskogee County/City Detention Facility. Their bonds were set at $100,000 each.

They were charged Friday with conjoint robbery, along with Javon Xavier Perry, 19, of Muskogee, for allegedly participating in the Jan. 15 armed robbery of the Kum & Go at Shawnee Bypass and Country Club Road. Bonds were set for all three men at $100,000 each in that case.

They will be back in court Feb. 7 for a sounding docket. At that time, a date will be set for a preliminary hearing.

Perry was arrested Jan. 15 following the armed robbery of a Mi Ryde Taxi driver. His bond remains at $100,000 in that case. Perry will be in court Friday for a sounding docket.
