Santa Claus Breakfast planned for Dec. 15

Alpha Phi Alpha and McDonald’s will team up Dec. 15 for the fraternity’s 25th annual Santa Claus Breakfast.

Rudy Jenkins, a fraternity member and spokesman, said the event will begin at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 15 and will take place at the Muskogee High School cafeteria.

“Last year, 600 people showed up,” Jenkins said, noting the support of local merchants who donate toys, fruit and candy for the children who attend. “It’s a big thing.”

The event, Jenkins said, will include a hearty breakfast, Christmas carols and, of course, the arrival of Santa Claus.
