Area teens serve as House pages

— Leslie Dause, right, a senior at Muskogee High School, and Taylor Barrett, a junior at Oktaha High School, recently served as pages for the Oklahoma House of Representatives at the invitation of Rep. Jerry McPeak, D-Warner.

“Leslie reminds you of that still appearing deep pool in a swiftly flowing river,” McPeak said. “She looks calm, but her energy and mind are working rapidly all of the time. She’s an impressive young lady.”

“Taylor is personality and great attitude to the highest degree,” McPeak said. “Mix in a more than normal dose of energy and intellect, and you have the extraordinary young lady Taylor Barrett.”

Leslie is the daughter of Sheila Dause of Muskogee. Taylor is the daughter of Trisha and Tony Barrett of Muskogee.
