MEETING — Muskogee City Council regular meeting

WHAT: Muskogee City Council regular meeting.

WHEN: 7 p.m. Monday.

WHERE: City Council Chambers, third floor, Muskogee Municipal Building, 229 W. Okmulgee Ave.

ON TV: Broadcast live on Suddenlink Channel 14.




• Claims for all city departments from April 7 through April 25.

• Awarding the lowest, qualified bid of $35,450 to Aquamen Waterslide Restorations for waterslide refinishing at River Country Water Park.

• Acceptance of $603,755 proposal submitted by American Fire Training Systems  Inc. to construct the multi-use training building for the Muskogee First Responder Multi-agency Training Center.

• Resolution declaring properties located at 29th and Denison streets as surplus property and authorizing the sale of those properties in the amount of $4,008 to Inhofe Land and Cattle Inc.

• Amended Affirmative Action Plan of the City of Muskogee for fiscal year 2014-2015, Council Policy 3-1-1.

• Retirement of one police canine, declaring the same as surplus and giving possession of the canine to the handler.          



• Resolution designating the City of Muskogee as a Community of Practice; having the shared purpose of understanding poverty and supporting programs which assist those living in poverty achieve self-sufficiency.

• Muskogee City Council Resolution establishing and adopting a housing Incentive program.

Consider an executive session to discuss the workers compensation claim of James Folsom, and if necessary, take appropriate action in open session.
