Muskogee student attends band camp

Jace Garrison of Muskogee High School recently attended the Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s 58th annual band camp, which was held July 7-12 on the Weatherford campus. The event attracted nearly 530 students from six states and two countries.

Camp director Keith Talley said the students auditioned for placement in one of five concert bands and participated in rehearsals as well as a variety of recreational activities. The camp ended with a final concert featuring all five bands.
