Braggs voters OK bond issue

Midway set for runoff April 2; Incumbents returned in Peggs, Woodall


— Braggs Public Schools voters said yes to a $635,000 bond issue to replace the school’s roof and windows on Tuesday. Wagoner Public Schools elected Corey Brown to the school board, while Braggs elected Jeff Ward, and Haskell elected Dewayne Brown.

Midway Public Schools will have a runoff election April 2 between Michael Ray and Bruce Reed.

In Cherokee County, Beth Halpain Bailey was elected to Keys Public Schools’ Office No. 3, Peggs elected incumbent Timmy Applegate, and Woodall elected incumbent Tony Delmedico.
