Phoenix publisher moving to W. Va.

— Randy Mooney, who served as publisher for the Muskogee Phoenix for nearly three years, has accepted a new opportunity within the company.

Mooney was named publisher of the Bluefield Daily Telegraph on Monday. The paper is located in his home state of West Virginia.

Both the Daily Telegraph and the Phoenix are owned by Community Newspaper Holdings Inc.

A search has begun to find a new publisher for the Phoenix.
