Shock game July 21 free to military


— The Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center will be the host of a Veterans Appreciation Day on July 21 during a Tulsa Shock game at the BOk Center in Tulsa.

Veterans, active duty, National Guard and Reserve troops can get a free ticket to the 3:30 p.m. game vs. the Atlanta Dream with a military or VA identification.

The first 100 significant others of veterans or military members will also get in free. Tickets for family members are available for $20 at the ticket window and include a meal ticket. Children 12 and younger get in free with a ticketed adult.

The medical center will have information booths for veterans and military members to learn more about VA health care and benefits. Doors open at 2 p.m.

Veterans and military members can also park for free at the Tulsa Community College Metro Campus in Parking Lot #6,  at 909 S. Boston Ave. The VA Veterans Transportation Service will provide a shuttle to and from the BOk Center, 200 S. Denver Ave.
