Sheriff earns award

Sheriff Bob Colbert of Wagoner County was awarded the “George Mason Peace Officer of the Year Award” presented by the Oklahoma Second Amendment Association during their 2013 annual conference. The George Mason Peace Officer of the Year Award is given to the “peace officer who aggressively defends the God-given right of the individual to self-preservation and actively supports the restoration of the Second Amendment right of the individual to keep and bear arms while serving with honor and integrity.”
