Teenager missing; officials seek help

Muskogee County sheriff’s investigators are seeking the public’s help to find a teenager who has been missing more than a week.

Jacob Southern, 16, was last seen by his mother July 6 at Chavas Mexican Restaurant, 710 S. 32nd St., according to Investigator Faye Banks.

Southern is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 128 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, a long-sleeved black-and-white plaid shirt and a black ball cap.

He had $20, but he didn’t take his cellphone or extra clothes with him.

He was supposed to go to the lake with friends, but he did not go, Banks said.

If you have seen Southern or know where he might be, contact Investigations at (918) 684-1643 or call 911.
