BREAKING NEWS: Wagoner County Sheriff seeks suspect in kidnapping

The Wagoner County Sheriff’s office is looking for a suspect in a kidnapping that occured early Monday morning.

The suspect is a hispanic or Native American male with cargo type pants.

According to Wagoner County Sheriff Bob Colbert, the victim picked up the suspect, who was hitchhiking, near Nowatta.

Colbert said the victim was only going to give the suspect a ride for a couple of miles, but then the suspect brandished a weapon. The victim drove to just south of Wagoner, where the suspect then locked him in his trunk before leaving.
