Police investigate armed robbery

Muskogee investigators are looking into an armed robbery reported at an apartment on the west side early Friday.

About 2:45 a.m., police responded to a call in the 4300 block of West Okmulgee Avenue, according to a police report.

Fabian Stewart, who lives at the apartment, and his friend Regina Seals, told police they had been robbed by three people.

A black female and two black males forced their way into the apartment and one of the men had a handgun, and they demanded money, Stewart and Seals told police.

Stewart appeared to have an injury to his forehead, Lt. Bobby Lee said.

“He was transported to the hospital,” Lee said. “We don’t have a condition on him right now.”

Lee said an investigators are looking into an earlier disturbance call in the area that may be related.

No arrests have been made.
