Three area men arrested after sting set at dam site

Three area men were arrested Tuesday as a result of a sting operation at Lock and Dam 17, a media release states.

Wagoner County Sheriff Bob Colbert initiated the sting after reports were received of the activities in the area east on West 90th Street North near U.S. 69 in the park area located before the road reaches the dam site.

Arrested were:

• Brian Helt, 39, of Oktaha was arrested on a complaint of indecent exposure and engaging in lewdness.

• Robert Taylor, 47, of Porter was arrested on a complaint of indecent exposure.

• Larry Terry, 64, of Coweta was arrested on a complaint of engaging in lewdness.

Deputies dressed in civilian attire and driving civilian vehicles worked the area Tuesday and were solicited, the release states.
