City woman guilty of theft of funds

A Muskogee woman pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of theft of government funds, according to a media release.

Jeanna Cunningham, 50, pleaded in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

Information alleged Cunningham knowingly embezzled, stole and converted to her own use, money and things of value from the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission.

The media release states the money Cunningham embezzled was more than $1,000 and that she took the money between July 12, 2008, and March 17, 2012.
