Man gets deferred sentence for assault

— A Muskogee man charged with assault following a fight at a bar received a five-year deferred sentence.

Tyeson Luke Bebee, 25, was charged with four counts of assault with a deadly weapon after a March 2012 fight that injured three men.

Bebee was sentenced Tuesday in Muskogee County District Court. He was ordered to undergo district attorney supervision, attend counseling and pay $22,344.76 restitution, court documents state.

Authorities said Bebee attacked a bouncer outside the Frog Wild Saloon after being ejected from the club.

The bouncer suffered cuts and scrapes, a deputy said. Three men who came to the bouncer’s defense were hospitalized with stab wounds.

Assistant District Attorney Tim King said Bebee pleaded no contest Oct. 18. He was sentenced for three of the assault charges. One man involved in the fight “never produced physical evidence that he was ever battered,” King said.
