A Tahlequah man was injured late Sunday in a single-vehicle crash, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol media release.
Josh Swafford, 20, was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa with head, trunk external and arm injuries. The OHP release states he was stable. An updated condition on Swafford was unavailable Monday.
The OHP report states a 2003 Jeep Cherokee driven by Swafford was southbound on Oklahoma 82A, two miles south of Moody Store, when it exited the road to the right about 11:50 p.m. Sunday and struck a fence and then a utility pole.
Swafford was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report. His airbag did deploy.
