One injured in 3-vehicle collision

— At least one person was injured in a three-vehicle collision in Muskogee on Friday afternoon, said Officer Rickie Kubiak of the Muskogee Police Department. Kubiak said a white Toyota was stopped on Okmulgee Avenue, preparing to turn onto 27th Street. A red Kia was stopped behind the Toyota, and a white Ford traveling east on Okmulgee failed to stop, rear ending the red Kia. The Kia driver released the brakes, rolling into the Toyota. Kubiak also said a passenger in the Kia scraped his leg on the dashboard and was transported from the scene via EMS. Traffic on Okmulgee was briefly backed up because of the wreck and the clean-up that followed.
