Tuesday afternoon collision

— Emergency personnel stand near a pickup involved in a crash Tuesday afternoon at the 32nd and Denver streets intersection.  Muskogee Police Officer Don Johnson said a red Chrysler Town and Country van driven by Wayne Dial, 75, struck the pickup, a silver GMC Sierra, driven by Cindy Pevehouse, 55. Pevehouse, Johnson said, was east on Denver Street, crossing 32nd Street when she was struck by the northbound van.  The pickup rolled over onto its top, and the tire on the front, driver’s side broke off, landing in front of the overturned pickup. Pevehouse was uninjured, and Johnson said Dial was transported to EASTAR Health System. An EASTAR Health System spokeswoman said Dial’s condition was unavailable Tuesday afternoon.   Pevehouse was cited for failure to yield, Johnson said. He wasn’t sure if either driver was wearing a seat belt. Dial’s airbag deployed, Johnson said.
