Birthday party for city slated

— Downtown Muskogee Inc. will host a Muskogee birthday celebration from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday in the Arrowhead Mall food court. Called Muskogee’s First Night, this event will commemorate Muskogee’s 141st birthday. Free birthday cake will be served.

The downtown organization will also offer a coloring page to kids and free Main Street coloring books while they last. A Family Fun Scavenger Hunt will take participants around downtown in a race to learn more about Muskogee’s history and architecture. The winner of the scavenger hunt will take home a gift basket provided by downtown businesses.
