P.M. UPDATE: Participants needed for senior spelling bee

— The Eastern Oklahoma Development District/ Area Agency on Aging (EODD) announces the Senior Citizens Spelling Bee, honoring May as Older Oklahomans month. Participants are needed for the bee planned for 2 p.m. May 1 at the EODD office, 1012 North 38th St.

If you live in Adair, Cherokee, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Sequoyah or Wagoner county and you are 60 or older, you are eligible to participate. Five places will be awarded with beautiful trophies.
