Missing from area

— The following persons are among the missing from the Muskogee area as of July 23:

• Stephan Adams, last seen Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, leaving Northeastern State University after class. During a telephone conversation, he told a friend he was taking someone to Keys. He was last known to be driving a white 1966 GMC pickup truck with chrome bedrails, OK license No. SCQ-714.

Anyone with information should contact the Tahlequah Police Department at 456-8801 or the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation at (800) 522-8017.

• Carol Stallings Grannon, missing since March 15, 1999. Last reported heading to Walmart in Muskogee. Her vehicle was found May 11, 1999, in the parking lot of the Department of Human Services on South 32nd Street. She has a light olive complexion, green eyes, brunette hair, weighed 140 pounds and was 5 feet, 2 inches tall. Date of birth, Aug. 31, 1962.

• Brandee Lester, 39, of Oklahoma City went missing on Aug. 4, 2008 in Muskogee County on South 285th Avenue East, northeast of Haskell. A boyfriend told investigators she asked to get out of the car and he drove about a mile down the road before he turned around to get her. She was not found. Tracking dogs were dispatched to the area, and air surveillance teams launched the next day.

Lester was scheduled to appear in Wagoner County District Court on possession of a controlled substance on Aug. 14, 2008. That case remains in limbo.

• Jamie Michelle McChurin, missing since March 18, 1997. Age, now 26. She is described as having brown hair and eyes, being 5-foot 1-inch tall and weighing 133 pounds at the time she went missing. She has numerous tattoos and a scar over her right eye.
