Charges were filed Tuesday against a Muskogee man suspected of being involved in two disputes and breaking into two stores Monday.
Michael Prince Myers, 18 is charged with:
• Two counts of second-degree burglary.
• Assault and battery.
• Threatening to perform an act of violence.
At midnight Myers made threats at a home, police said. At 3:30 a.m., he broke into Dollar General and took clothing, according to an affidavit.
Myers broke into Kum & Go at 29 W. Southside Blvd. at about 4 a.m. and took items, the affidavit states.
At about 6:30 a.m., he got into a confrontation at 3013 Elgin St., police said.
Myers is being held at the Muskogee County/City Detention Facility on $30,000 bond.
A sounding docket is set for 10 a.m. Oct. 8, where a preliminary hearing will be scheduled.
