Area woman earns CSC scholarship

Amanda Jones of Webbers Falls was recently awarded the Connors State College Miller Family Scholarship.

Jones’ leadership skills, combined with her academic experience qualified her for the award, according to a media release.

Jones is pursuing a degree in education. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Support Services.

“We are pleased to offer this scholarship to Amanda,” Connors State College President Dr. Tim Faltyn said in a media release. “She is an excellent asset to our school.”
