Help sought for food pantry

From left, Colyn Farley, Rafael Lopez, Jayden Derrick, Jacob Sellars, Rianne Rowland and MeKinzie Foreman, along with their teacher Fabiela Kemble, assist with the service of a meal at Muskogee’s Gospel Rescue Mission. On their trip, the FCCLA students saw the nearly empty pantry shelves and wanted to help. The Alice Robertson Junior High School FCCLA is asking the community to help fill the need at the Gospel Rescue Mission by either taking food to the mission or giving money to the United Way for the pantry. If checks are sent to the United Way, they should be marked “GRM Food Pantry” in the memo line in order for the money to be allocated for that purpose. Checks may be mailed to United Way, PO Box 1612, Muskogee, OK 74402 or drop them off at the United Way office, 311 Court St.
