Car hit by train on Harris Road

Lonnie Graham, 86, leans on his 1973 Pontiac Grand Am after it was hit by a Union Pacific train Thursday. Muskogee Police Officer Ken Hughey said Graham was driving east on North Harris Road toward North York Street. Graham told police he did not see the lights or the train and was struck on the rear passenger side. Graham refused treatment from Muskogee County Emergency Medical Service, but was taken to his Muskogee home by EMS, police said. He was not cited.
