P.M. UPDATE: Suddenlink adds three HDTV channels in Muskogee

To answer growing consumer demand for more high-definition television (HDTV) programming, Suddenlink said Tuesday it is adding three new HD channels to its cable TV lineup in Muskogee.

These new channels — The Learning Channel HD (756), Discovery Channel HD (757) and Animal Planet HD (758) — will be available on Suddenlink’s “HD Basic” tier of service, which is available free to customers who lease the equipment required to enable HD viewing. With the addition of these new channels, customers will have access to 12 “HD Basic” channels, including four local “HD Broadcast” channels.

For more information, call 687-7511 or visit Suddenlink’s local office at 2510 Elliott St., or go to and enter their zip code.
