Police selling tickets for benefit breakfast

— The Muskogee Police Department will be selling tickets to an Applebee’s flapjack breakfast fundraiser to help the family of a woman killed in a car crash.

Crystal Franklin, 28, died in a head-on collision July 16. She was seven months pregnant, and the baby also died. Her two sons, ages 5 and 18 months, were injured in the crash.

The breakfast will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. Aug. 17. Tickets will be $7 and can be purchased by calling Cpl. Michael Mahan at the police department, (918) 680-3167.
