A.M. UPDATE: Church to hold Veterans Day celebration Monday

A Veterans Day celebration will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the activity center. There will be a potluck dinner followed by a music program, during which veterans will receive recognition. Event chairman Virgil Rose said in a media release the community of Muskogee to know that everyone is invited to attend this celebration, especially veterans of the United States Armed Forces.

Those attending the dinner at 5:30 are asked to bring a side dish or dessert. Others may wish to attend only the program which will begin around 6:15. The St. Paul church community looks forward to honoring these patriots who have served their country, according to a media release.
