Medicare training set for 9 a.m. Friday

The Eastern Oklahoma Development District Area Agency on Aging will host a Senior Summit from 9 a.m. to noon Friday at its offices at 1012 N. 38th St. in Muskogee.

The summit is an annual community training event focused on educating Medicare beneficiaries in the main components of Medicare.

Topics include: Medicare basics, supplement plans, prescription drug plans, long-term care insurance and Medicare Advantage plans.

Medicare beneficiaries, their families, community leaders and health professionals are invited to attend. There is no cost to attend.
