Reward offered in search

— The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is seeking the public’s help to find a man last seen in Eufaula, according to a media release from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Tommy Raymond Eastep, 30, was last seen July 7 at the Best Western Hotel in Eufaula.

“He is from the Blanchard area and had been visiting family in the Eufaula area,” said Gary Perkinson, OSBI assistant special agent in charge.

Eastep is a white male, 6 feet, 1 inch tall. He has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and sandals.

Eastep’s silver Chevrolet 4X4 pickup was found abandoned Sept. 29 in rural Hughes County near the intersection of Oklahoma 48 and Oklahoma 9. Eastep’s family believes he may have been on his way back to Blanchard, south of Oklahoma City.

The Eastep family is privately offering a reward, not the OSBI.

“That’s completely separate from our investigation,” Perkinson said. “It’s an unusual circumstance.”

If you have any information concerning Eastep’s whereabouts, contact the Hughes County Sheriff’s office at (405) 379-2203, or the OSBI at (800) 522-8017.
