Training session set for MPS substitutes

— Muskogee Public Schools will hold training for substitute teachers from 9 a.m. until noon Aug. 5 in the Board Room of the BEST Center, 202 W. Broadway.

Interested parties are asked to bring their driver’s license, Social Security card, GED certificate, if applicable, a voided check or direct deposit authorization from financial institution, along with $25 cash or money order for the applicant’s portion of a background check. Certified teachers should provide a copy of their certification. Applications will be available at that time.
